A Quote Is More Than Pricing — It’s Project Planning
A quote is not just a number. It reflects how a project is expected to perform in the field. In practice, a well-built quote is not just pricing — it’s planning.
Before we put pricing together, we evaluate the full scope of the project and site. That includes soil conditions, seed selection, application method, water access and overall project requirements. This also includes coordination details — such as water availability or sequencing with other trades — that can significantly impact execution if they are overlooked.
One of the most important steps is soil testing. Understanding the soil’s pH, nutrient levels and composition allows us to determine whether amendments like PH Doctor, ProGanics or ProGanics Dual are needed to support proper germination. Without that information, even the right seed and application method can fall short.
In commercial environments, this level of evaluation is critical. Projects must align with specifications, timelines and coordination with other trades. A quote needs to be accurate, not just on paper, but in execution.
That level of detail requires a consultative approach from the beginning. We review details, ask the right questions and identify potential challenges early. This helps minimize change orders or delays and ensures the project is set up for success from day one.
