Choosing the Right Solution for the Site
Successful vegetation establishment depends on more than installation — it starts with selecting the right solution for the site.
Different site conditions require different approaches. In some cases, standard hydromulch may be sufficient. In others, premium erosion control products, soil amendments or drill seeding may be more appropriate, particularly on non-irrigated or environmentally sensitive sites.
Soil testing is often a critical first step. It identifies underlying conditions — such as pH imbalance, nutrient deficiencies or low organic matter — that can impact germination and long-term performance. Without this insight, even the right product and application method can fall short.
With the right data and experience, product selection becomes a strategic decision that directly impacts establishment, erosion control and long-term site performance.
